So, we've been on solid ground for about a week now. And I'm still dizzy.

We decided a cruise was a great way to rest, relax and have a lot of fun, so, we booked a Carnival cruise this year to explore the "Mexican Riviera". It turns out we were right, we had a great time, we slept, ate, slept, watched shows, had a drink, slept, ate, went to gym, slept some more :)

Needless to say, I gained like 5 lbs! I'll post a review of the cruise a little later, but for now I wanted to share one of the many little adventures we experienced on vacation.

Well, as we docked in Cabo San Lucas and made our way down the port/marina, we noticed these little funny-looking "wildlife huts". As we neared them and peered into the cages, we saw the most adorable sight ever. A baby tiger and a baby lion! When we realized that we could take a photo with them for a $35 donation, we wasted no time in paying the donation and getting our photo taken with them. Yes, yes, I know....it's actually pretty cruel that they have these wild animals there, in 110-degree heat, working long, long shifts just for profit....but....we just couldnt resist!

Now, reflecting back on the size of both the tiger's and lion's claws, we sure did take a risk. Although cute and cuddly, these animals are wild and could accidentally scratch either one of us and cause some serious damage! But oh well, at least we have some cool photos and video :)

Here's a pic a friend took with our camera....(I'll scan and post our "official" photo later)

That's actually the way we were told to hold the Tiger and the Lion when we sat down to take the picture.
We didn't get video but it was really amazing to be with those glorious animals :) Good times

Ok, so Dina...you took modeling to a whole new level. You were not gonna let that lion take you down without a good shot! That is so cute!

As I was looking through some video clips from our point-n-shoot camera, I found a couple of videos from Montserrat, Spain. I thought I'd share them just in case anybody reading this is thinking of going near Barcelona. About 45 minutes from the city, resides this amazing little city that seems to grow from within the rocky mountains that surround it. The drive out there is beautiful but the view from the city plaza is something that is worth the half-day excursion out there. Photos and video can only give a hint of the amazing-ness of this place!

Btw, you can see the original post from Montserrat on the old blog.
I indicated with a blue arrow on the sepia-toned photo where we were at when we took these photos and videos...check it out.....

Here's a few photos from Montserrat that I had not posted on the old blog.

Visiting a new city is always a great experience. What makes it even more memorable is when you encounter some amazing musicians playing for donations on the street! They do it because they are inspired, because they love it, because they just....have to. I always make sure to put some money into their tip jar, please do the same if they entertained you for a bit!

The photo below was taken in Puerto Vallarta last year. I'm so mad that the video file had issues and for some reason couldnt upload! The sounds and rhythms they created and played for like 15 minutes straight were captivating.

If you scrool further down, you'll see a few videos we captured with our little point-n-shoot camera while we were in europe last summer. Enjoy!

A few months ago we went with some friends to Magic Mountain. I decided to use my point-n-shoot camera to record us on the crazy roller coasters. I love the footage! If you are going to try this, just be ready, because you end up super-dizzy after every ride.

On this ride, Scream, it was really difficult knowing whether or not I was pointing at Dina’s face, but check it out, it turned out really funny!

I thought I'd post this video I took with my Point-n-Shoot camera when we went to see a flamenco show in Madrid.

We made a mistake and just went to the first flamenco theatre we ran into on our first night there. It was good, but it wasn't "traditional". The main flamenco dude looked more like a hollywood club raver than a flamenco guy. And the bar was rather dark and dingy, needless to say we paid for the "non-dinner" seating. The wine was horrible.

But check out this guy's footwork, oh, and also, the intensity!!
