**On a sidenote....this slideshow software is still new to us, so we're still learning how to best "tweak" the images so they look their best on your screen. There's a lot to take into consideration, like so many different resolutions, screen size, download speed, etc.etc. So, I've tried to find a "quality" that will not only look good, but download quite fast. So, if slideshow takes a little while to start, just please be patient, it's worth it :)
Our great friends Carlos & Rubi are about to become parents in about a month-and-a-half! We are very excited to see their bouncing baby boy soon!
We convinved Rubi the other day to shoot a maternity session. Rubi is so funny, she was reluctant at first, because she thought she looked too "big"! After plenty of "you look amazing pregnant" comments, she agreed. We are so glad she did. Because she does look amazing!
Carlos & Rubi, thank you both so much for being awesome friends! We had a blast with you two in Europe last summer and thanks also for the delicious dinner the other day, next time its on us!
We had never photographed a soon-to-be-mom before and I think we did pretty good, check out the photos.
These are great Ruby always looks pretty! I tried convincing her to do a session as well :) Cant wait to meet their new addition

I love it when I can get some cool light sources in unexpected areas, like a parking garage. Not to mention that these images were shot with my now favorite lens, a 35mm 2.0 canon lens, which is tiny, lightweight, plastic and only costs like $200. Yes, maybe the "L" series of that lens is even better, but it also costs about $1k more! For a lightweight vacation lens, that you dont even have to worry about scratching, breaking or whatever, this little lens is just right....

On a side note, who says 2 o'clock in the afternoon is a bad time to shoot photos because of the harsh lighting? Well, check out the awesome post.....harsh lighting conditions??....no problem!!
That was just so beautiful. I love the pictures with their tongues out and the others with their feet touching. What a beautiful family. the ones at the end with the parents are very nice too!
